Our Mission
The American Chemical Society (ACS) University Chapter is dedicated to promoting excellence in chemistry education, research, and outreach. We provide opportunities for students to develop professionally, network with industry professionals, and engage in community service.
Our chapter strives to:

- Encourage research and innovation in chemistry

Our History
Our ACS chapter was founded in 1985 by a group of passionate chemistry students and faculty members who wanted to create a community for those interested in chemistry. Since then, we have grown to become one of the most active student organizations on campus.
Over the years, our chapter has:
- Received multiple Outstanding Chapter Awards from the national ACS
- Organized successful regional chemistry conferences
- Established partnerships with local industry and research institutions
- Developed outreach programs that have reached thousands of K-12 students
- Created a strong alumni network that continues to support current students
